Well, here is the traditional capstone/summary post for the 2023 DMR Guest Bloggerama. More than a week late but--hopefully--not a farthing short in regard to giving credit where credit is due.

The Bloggerama officially ended with Jim Cornelius' excellent 'Rangers' post on February 2. We try to finish things on January 31, but sometimes we have a pile-up of posts at the end and, thus, we extend things a bit. This year, things got off to a late start, which exacerbated the situation.

We got off to a late start thanks to yours truly as well as an unfortunate series of events. Some people didn't get contacted (through no fault of their own), others couldn't quite work it into their schedules. All of those factors contributed to an understrength roster. That said, the DMR Books blog still provided a well-nigh continuous daily stream of quality web log entries for the edification of our loyal readers. That's what it comes down to: you readers who have stuck with the blog for over six years. This Bloggerama just completed was our fifth and a fine one it was, despite all the setbacks.

One casualty of all this fuss was my commenting on posts. As a rule I always try to comment on every DMR blog post. That goes double for guest bloggers. On any given day this time around, I was doing well to write my own post or advise/wrangle some guest contributor. Now, at this point, I have commented upon every guest blogger’s post as well as many of my own. I did a poor job of commenting in December, so I got some of them done as well. I don’t note this to get extra clicks, but simply to let all bloggers concerned know that I have commented.

For those DMR Books Blog readers who might have missed out on some of this year’s Bloggerama posts, you will find below the 2023 Roll Call of Honor. Every guest blogger is listed—with hyperlinks to each post—from first to last. It should be noted that Daniel J. Davis—usually a Bloggerama stalwart—didn’t produce a post this year. However, his interview in ‘Independent Author Spotlight’ was primarily his content, so he gets an honorable mention. Richard Fisher officially kicked things off a couple days after Dan’s interview. Finally, a big shout-out to my erstwhile sword-brother from The Cimmerian, Brian Murphy, for cranking out two excellent Bloggerama posts.
